Gameplay

It all comes thick and fast on Hit it Hard, thanks to the neon vibe and bright lights which are constantly going off with each spin. And yes, it didn’t take us long to turn down our brightness. But as with many retro slots it’s the bonus games that really add some va va voom here. When the Dice symbol lands on the middle position on the third reel, we trigger the bonus round.

The Dice symbol transforms in a x10 Wild and starts moving across the space at the top of the screen. But it’s not just a case of moving across. While it does so at random, it can also activate seven other bonuses. For instance, we could get a freebie spin with Stacked Wilds or ten spins with Multiplier Wilds. The Quantum Leap feature sees us jump around the board, landing on other positions to activate more bonuses! Verdict

When we play Hit it Hard we…well, we hit it hard! The base game might be lacking somewhat in paylines, but the action gets fast and frenetic when the bonus round comes into play.

However, the Wild Respin which is given to us if a Wild isn’t part of a winning combination is a nice touch. All in all, ELK has done a masterful job in creating a retro slot with the clout behind it to be a massive, and extra hard, slots hit.
