The jungle is a great setting for many things. Films, books, comics, songs (Guns N’ Roses invited us there). But by far the best thing we’ve seen depicted in the jungle are slots. It gives developers the chance to use all the colour, the camouflage and the critters to create awesome slots. And boy have we seen plenty of those.
Welcome To The Jungle
Starting off with NetEnt’s Gonzo’s Quest, we get going with Gonzo on his quest for the legendary treasure of El Dorado. Amazing graphics, a fun character who joins us on the side of the reels, cheering us on and a range of features including Avalanche Reels, a Free Falls Bonus and Multipliers galore – we’re definitely on the right track for finding that treasure. All while traversing the hidden depths of the jungle.
But what else is rustling in the foliage? It’s the world of Jumanji, a five reel, 36 payline slot based on the original 1995 film. The Board Game comes to life, just like in the film, to deliver bonus features galore. While we watch out for the jungle animals, we also notice another great slot…Jungle Spirit: Call of the Wild. With 243 Ways to Win and a Symbol Expansion feature that covers the whole reel, the wild animals go exactly that – wild – and help us towards 7,678 times our stake!
The Jungle Master
One thing you might notice about these slots is that they’re all from NetEnt. Now is that a coincidence? One developer that serves us three very different jungle-themed slots, but all of them packing a huge jungle punch. Either it’s a coincidence or NetEnt just know that we love visiting the jungle on the reels. To be fair, I am sat here dressed as Mowgli and I may have left my webcam on. So, you know, that could have been a giveaway.
