Gameplay

In order for us to really go bananas, we look towards the slot’s bonus round. However, unlike traditional slots with their Scatters and Free Spins, Go Bananas takes a different path. Similar to other NetEnt slots, instead of a predictable way to trigger bonuses, we can activate bonuses using the Wilds.

In fact, there are five different Monkey Wilds, each giving their own reward. All we need to do is land one of them on the reels and they’ll do the rest. For instance, if we catch the Wild Gorilla, the reels change into an X shape of five Wild symbols. The Wild Orangutan turns a square of four symbols wild, the Baboon gives us a strip of three vertically and the Langur does the same but horizontal.

The Wild Tarsier, the smallest of the apes on the slot, turns either a horizontal or vertical strip of two symbols wild. At first it doesn’t sound like much, but once we experience the Wilds in action, we realise just how lucrative they can be. Especially when we land more than one ape on a single spin.
