The good thing about ELK Studios is that it doesn’t stray away too far when creating its slots. The button layouts such as spin, autospin, betting options and information are all in the similar positions in the corner and white in colour.

The winning symbols hold in place with each winning combination and flash on screen, as our winning amount then flashes in the centre, giving us another...dare we say flash again?...dose of bright colours on the screen.

Gameplay

Just like everybody always packs too much when they go away on holiday, Sam and his family pack a whole load of features into their suitcases. Which works out well for us if not for their excess baggage costs.

When all four of the family members, Sam, Maggie, Sandra and Ted, appear on the same row, we trigger the Beach Memories Respin feature. We enjoy a Respin with Sticky Wilds replacing the main symbols, with the chance for all four of them to appear fully stacked. The big standout feature of this slot is the Free Spins, though, which activates when three, four of five of the Bell Scatter appears.

The bonus game awards us 5, 10 or 15 free spins. All of a sudden, the sun sets and we enjoy night time at the beach as the reels spin away and we begin the slots party. If the Scatter appears again, we prolong the festivities with an additional Free Spin added. The electric nature of the first Sam slot isn’t lost on this game, either. In fact, it appears in the form of Electric Treats. Essentially, each family member has its own special feature which can be triggered when they land during the Free Spins feature.

For instance, Sam gives us Sticky Wilds, Ted gifts us with a Sticky Multiplier while Sandra awards us Bonus Multipliers. Then there’s little Maggie, rewarding us with Imploding Symbols, blasting away the low value symbols from the reels. It’s electrifying action all the way on this beach holiday.
