Some of the key concerns that the CMA notes were the questionable delays that operators imposed on player payouts. In particular, daily, weekly or monthly limits on withdrawals was highlighted, as were the short deadlines on the amount of time a player can verify their identity in order to withdraw winning funds. There are other terms out there which we still find shocking that they’re in action. For instance, the ability for an operator to confiscate funds or impose changes after a period of inactivity. Obviously the CMA are shocked, too, as it announces its investigation of this practice following actions on bonus promotions from major operators.
